GeMinG has introduced a revolutionary new self – locking agricultural electric cylinder, aiming to transform the agricultural linear actuator landscape. This innovative product integrates a servo motor, worm gear reducer, screw assembly, and anti – rotation mechanism.

The key innovation lies in its use of the unidirectional self – locking characteristic of the worm gear drive through the worm gear reducer. This enables the electric cylinder to achieve mechanical self – locking, eliminating reliance on electronic components and enhancing operational reliability. In contrast to traditional electric cylinders that rely on electronic self – locking and may fail during power outages, GeMinG’s new design ensures stable performance even in such situations.

The screw assembly, consisting of a mating screw and nut, works in tandem with the anti – rotation mechanism. The anti – rotation mechanism, which is held in place by two planes parallel to the linear actuator’s outer surface, converts the rotary motion of the nut into linear motion, facilitating smooth and precise operation.

To further optimize performance, the electric cylinder is equipped with a limit sensor. Three sensors are used to accurately detect the zero position and the expansion and contraction limits, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Additionally, the screw assembly features thrust ball bearings, angular contact bearings, and a sliding bearing. These bearings distribute loads effectively, reduce wear, and improve the overall lifespan and stability of the cylinder. The use of a ball screw also reduces friction and enables high – speed and micro – feed operations.

The new self – locking agricultural electric cylinder is not only a technological advancement but also a practical solution for various agricultural applications. With its compact structure, high reliability, and enhanced performance, it is set to become a game – changer in the field of agricultural machinery, promising to boost productivity and efficiency in the agricultural sector.
