
On the morning of November 19th, a significant event took place at the signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between provincial and municipal universities in Jiangsu University. The China Agricultural Machinery Research Institute and Jiangsu University inked a strategic cooperation agreement, witnessed by a number of high – profile figures. Wang Bo, the deputy secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Jiangsu Province, appointed representatives to participate. Li Sizhang, the secretary of the China Agricultural Machinery Research Institute’s party committee, and the vice – president of Jiangsu University signed the contract. Ge Daokai, the Director of the Education Bureau of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, along with others such as Zhenjiang Municipal Party Committee Secretary Hui Jianlin and Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician Zhao Chunjiang, were present as witnesses.
As per the agreement, the two parties will enhance collaboration across multiple fronts. They will deepen cooperation in scientific research, discipline construction, personnel training, result transformation, and international exchanges. Notably, they plan to jointly build the Jiangsu Branch of the China Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute, which is expected to boost the development of Zhenjiang’s intelligent agricultural equipment technology innovation industrial park.
Another key initiative is the joint construction of the Beijing Graduate School of Jiangsu University, where they will carry out joint postgraduate training. This effort is aimed at promoting the growth of disciplines related to agricultural machinery, agricultural product processing, and food engineering. The partnership holds great promise for the advancement of agricultural – related research, education, and industry development in the region.
