
The 2017 American Solar Show, known as Solar Power International (SPI), took place from September 11th to September 13th (with another period from October 17th – October 20th) at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
Co – sponsored by SEPA and SEIA, SPI has a rich history. Originating in 1995 as conferences and forums, it became an exhibition in 2004 in San Francisco. Since then, it has been held annually in September or October in various U.S. cities like San Diego, Anaheim, and Los Angeles, growing into the largest solar – related trade fair in the United States and globally.
The event attracted numerous world – renowned solar companies such as Sharp, Hanwha, and many Chinese giants like LDK, Jingke, and Yingli. Each year, SPI draws professionals from 75 countries in the solar energy industry. They come to access the latest global solar industry information and understand the dynamics of the North American solar market, enabling them to stay abreast of industry trends.
