The HTL4 is a three-stage telescopic linear actuator developed for elevating cameras, LiDAR, antennas and other sensor modules on mobile robotic platforms. Its compact retracted form helps inspection robots move through restricted spaces, while the extended mast raises the sensing position to improve visibility and measurement coverage.
| Structure | Three-stage telescopic linear actuator |
|---|---|
| Outer mast diameter | 61 mm |
| Drive housing envelope | Approx. 176 x 93 x 193.5 mm |
| Mounting-hole pattern | 165 x 80 mm, four 4.5 mm diameter holes |
| Retracted-height relationship | Stroke / 3 + 200 mm, according to the supplied drawing |
Load, speed, voltage, duty cycle, environmental protection, feedback and cable requirements are configured for the project and should be confirmed before ordering.

Mounted vertically on an inspection robot, HTL4 can retract the sensing module for transport and obstacle clearance, then extend it at the inspection point to obtain a higher viewing or scanning position. The robot structure should guide and support external side loads; the actuator should be selected according to the payload, stroke, extension speed and operating environment.

For selection support, please provide the sensor payload, required stroke, target speed, voltage, duty cycle, installation space, control or feedback requirement and operating environment. View more electric linear actuators or contact GEMING for an OEM configuration review.
Installed in a woodworking saw table in 2017,
this linear actuator remained in continuous service for years without replacement.
In 2025, the same customer reordered the identical model for a new project.
